Dear Parents and Families,
It has been a joy to see the children return from the summer break, refreshed happy and healthy. From the first day of school, and all week, we have seen children literally skipping in with excitement for what the new year will bring them. We hope you all had a fabulous summer holiday, whether you went overseas or stayed at home. We look forward to another successful year together where the parenternip between you as families, the school and parish is key to the positive outcomes that come out our school.
We always strive to be a very supportive and caring community so, please, don’t hesitate to ask any of us if you need a helping hand as your child starts their Servite journey. We have lots of exciting opportunities and challenges that lie ahead and through all of us – teachers, children and families – working together to ensure our students ‘Learn to Love and Love to Learn.’
After each day next week, we will be hosting class meetings for you as parents, starting with Year 5 on Monday. Its is imperative that a family representative attends these important information sharing meetings. Expectations for the year will be outlined in relation to school policies, behaviour, homework and the curriculum. If you have children with you (primary aged children), they will be able to sit in the adjacent classroom to be supervised by a member of staff whilst the meeting is taking place.
Good luck for this academic year, we are so excited, as staff, to have the privilege of teaching your children.
